7th grade football reminder
· 7th Grade Football – Middle schools will combine to form team(s) coordinated by the Football Booster Club and will compete in the Southwest Metro Football League. Registration is open now and can be found under the 7th grade tab athttp://www.farmingtontigersfb.com/page/show/1766405-7th-grade-2015- . Registration fee is $185 and registration will be open until the end of June. There will be two games per week including Saturdays with league playoff in October. Players must have a current physical and provide shoes, socks, mouth guards and other miscellaneous non-essential equipment. Practice begins the first week of August at Boeckman Middle School.

Softball State Tournament
The Tiger Softball team put up a valiant effort yesterday at the State Softball Tournament. The girls lost a tough game to Becker 5-4 losing in the bottom of the seventh, and then falling 8-4 to Chanhassen in the consolation round. It was a great season and great run by the Tiger's, congratulations to the girls and the coaches, and the proud parents!

INFORMATION NIGHT FOR GRADES 7 – 12 WILL BE MONDAY, AUGUST 3, 2015 AT 7PM AT
FARMINGTON HIGH SCHOOL
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The Farmington Athletics Department’s middle
school athletic offerings will see changes for the 2015-2016 school year as a
result of district budget reductions. Unless noted, all registrations will be
on-line using the Feepay system. Fall, 2015 athletics registration fees will be
$170 and registration will open mid-to late July.
District 192 programs:

Cross Country –
One program consisting of grades 7 – 12 with varsity and junior varsity levels
competing in the South Suburban Conference. Practice begins August 24th
at Boeckman Middle School
·
8th
Grade Football – Middle schools will combine to create an ‘A’ team and ‘B’ team
competing in the Big-Missota-Lake Conference. Practice begins August 17th
at Boeckman Middle School.
·
8th
Grade Boys & Girls Soccer – Middle schools will combine 8th
grade students to make one boys team and one girls team that will compete in
the Big-Missota-Lake Conference. Practice begins August 24th.
·
Girls Swim &
Dive – One program consisting of grades 7 – 12 with varsity and junior varsity
levels competing in the South Suburban Conference. Practice begins August 17th.

Girls Tennis –
One team consisting of both middle schools competing in the Big-Missota-Lake
Conference. Practice begins August 24th at Levi Dodge Middle School.

Volleyball -
Middle schools will combine to create an 8A, 8B, 7A, and 7B team and will
compete in the Big-Missota-Lake Conference. Practice begins August 24th
at Levi Dodge Middle School.

Grade Boys & Girls Soccer – Coordinated by Minnesota Thunder Academy –
South Metro. MTS-SM is based out of Farmington and plays neighboring south
metro and southern Minnesota teams as part of a league within the Minnesota
Youth Soccer Association. Information

Section success/State Entrants
The Section 1AA event was held last Thursday and Saturday at Lakeville South High School.
We had number of students do very well and move on to the state meet at Hamline University this weekend.

Softball State Bracket
The Tiger Softball team will play Becker at 9am on June 4th at Caswell Park in Mankato in the 2015 State Tournament. Win or lose the Tigers will play their second game at 3pm.
