Farmington High School basketball is sponsoring a new winter program for middle schoolers geared to improve player fundamentals in a camp-style format.
The skill camps begin December 2 and run through February. They will be conducted by Farmington Middle School coaches with oversight provided by the high school boys and girls coaching staffs.
The camps, which will replace the traditional Middle School interscholastic program, will focus on fundamental skills such as shooting, ball handling, defensive techniques and conditioning.
The sessions can serve as a supplement to travel basketball or provide an opportunity for students participating in other sports to keep active during the winter months.
