2015 Athena Award
History. It recognizes the
outstanding young women athletes from St. Paul and suburban public and private
high schools. The Athena Awards honors young women for dedication and
excellence in sports and celebrates their achievements.
Selection of Athletes
Selection of the outstanding senior female athlete from each school is determined based on excellence in individual sport participation and accomplishments in team sports. This award is strictly for sports accomplishments, with other achievements being secondary. The Athena award makes no distinction between physically-challenged and able-bodied athletes.
