Liz Carpentier is new FHS
Girls’ Basketball Coach
FARMINGTON,
MINN., May 15, 2015 – Next season
the Farmington High School Girls’ Basketball team will have a new Head Coach:
Liz Carpentier. Formerly, Carpentier
coached at Eagan High School, at Chisago Lakes in the North Suburban Conference,
and at St. Bernard’s in the Tri-Metro Conference. She will be replacing Sondra
Chadwick who was the Head Girls’ Basketball Coach at FHS for the past four
seasons.
Carpentier
was a 1999 graduate of Eagan High School and a letter winner in soccer and
basketball. She continued her education at St. Olaf College in Northfield,
Minnesota where she graduated in 2003 with a degree in Social Studies Education
and competed on the St. Olaf basketball team. Her coaching accomplishments
include eleven years as a Girls’ Varsity Basketball Coach, Section 3AAAA Coach
of the Year, over 100 wins, best conference finish in school history, and most
wins in regular season (2014-2015) since 1998-1999.
Carpentier
lives in Farmington with her husband, Rob, and three children-stepson Nic, Matt,
and Gianna.
