Tigers fare well at Hamline Elite

The Tigers scored points in six events at the Hamline Elite meet held Friday night at Hamline University in St. Paul.

The highest finish of the night came on the boys' side ledger where the quartet of Tyler Lerbakken, Tommy Weigel, Justin Hyytinen and Tanner Grubb that was runner-up in the 4x400 relay in a school record time of 3:25.17.

Hyytinen added an eighth place finish in the 1600-meter run, clocking a personal-best 4:26.56.

Nadia Lorencz placed in two events for the Tiger girls, ranking third in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.5 and fourth in the long jump with a leap of 16-9.25. Lorencz also took ninth place in the triple jump with a 33-8.5 effort.

The 4x200 relay team of Isabelle Ferm, Maria Kiminski, Morgan Cecchettini and Megan Graham placed fifth in 1:47.45 and the 4x400 quartet of Alicia Hett, Jennifer Miller, Graham and Kiminski who clocked 4:06.87.
