Boys Lacrosse Tigers blank Hawks 11-0

Farmington roared into its first-ever Missota Conference season with a dominating 11-0 shutout victory over Chaska Thursday night at Tiger Stadium.

Nick Hinnenkamp continued his individual hot streak with three goals and Corey Rudrud had a five-point night with two goals and three assists. Mitch Hilton netted a goal and four assists. and Dan Block added a pair of goals for the winners.

Chris Fitzgibbons, Kevin Clifton and Michael Thompson all scored for the Tigers who got assists from Alex Kelly and James Thompson.

Alex Aubrecht also had a productive night, taking over the state lead in ground balls through four games.

 "Overall our defense continued to put incredible pressure on the opponent," coach Paul Sorensen said. "I'm most proud of the little things that we did that won't show on paper. 

"Our tenacious rides and heady play kept us out of the box most of the night. I'll take our chances against anybody even up."

The Tigers also got a solid night form first-year goaltender Kyle Kratz who posted his first career shutout with a 10-save effort.

The Tigers won't have much time to relish their third win in four starts as they're back in action Friday night with a road game at Woodbury.
