Track: Tigers draw Hamline Elite bids

Farmington will be well-represented at the Hamline Elite Track and Field Meet Friday night at Hamline University in St. Paul.

The invitational only meet features athletes with the best times, heights and distances from around Minnesota.

Two Farmington boys, Justin Hyytinen and Nehemiah Rockett, made the field in two events apiece, Rockett in the 110 and 300-meter hurdles and Hyytinen in the 1600 and 3200-meter runs.

Tanner Grubb made the cut in the 200-meter dash and Devon Webb qualified in the 800-meter run. Wyatt Ferm earned his invitation in the high jump.

The 4x400 relay team of Rockett, Grubb, Webb and Ryan Parco will compete in the 4x400 relay.

The Tiger girls will be represented by the 4x200 relay team of Emma Record, Jennifer Miller, Megan Graham and Isabelle Ferm
