The last time the the Tigers faced state-rated New Prague the visiting Trojans prevailed by a 144.7-134.55 count.

In last Friday night's rematch at the New Prague Gymnastics Center the outcome was the same but the team scores significantly lower. Final: New Prague 142.05 Farmington 134.20.

"It was a tough one for us," Farmington coach Lynn Bauman said. "The judging was quite low for both teams. The girls did some of their best routines but received no credit in return."

Tahra Eckert continued her strong performance in vault, winning the competition with a mark of 9.35 for the only Tiger first of the meet. Eckert also took third on the balance (beam) and her all-around score of 33.60 ranked third right behind teammate Kiana Lord who totaled 33.975 and finished second.

Lord also placed second in floor exercise (9.10), fourth in vault (9.15) and fifth on the uneven bars (8.05).

Kathryn Beckett scored fifth place finishes in vaulting (9.025) and balance Beam (8.375).

The Tigers now have a week to prepare for the Missota Conference Championships scheduled for Friday at Red Wing.
