Farmington (4-1-1) entered the contest one-half game behind the Stars (5-0-0) in the race for the conference title but the two early goals took some air out of the Tigers balloon.
Farmington coach Julian Buss credited the Stars for their quality play but added the two foul calls remain a mystery.
"The official never consulted with his
assistants on either of these calls, nor did I get any explanation," Buss said, "even after standing 10 yards out onto the field requesting one. Nothing."
Holy Angels went on to build a 5-0 halftime lead and then added a couple of exclamation point goals after the break to all but put the 2012 league hardware in its trophy case.
Senior goalkeepers Sam Peterson and Isaac Toenjes split the net duties with each finishing with seven saves.

Buss said despite the one-sided loss he was proud of his team's effort.
The Tiger coach had special words of praise for his 13 seniors who may have played their final home game
"Thank you, seniors," he said. "You went out with a loss by score, but a victory in character and leadership. As a coach I couldn’t be prouder."
Farmington (8-6-1) closes out its regular and Missota Conference seasons Thursday at Shakopee and then awaits the Section 1 seeding process. Post-season play begins next week.
