Junior Megan Stivers and eighth-grader Ryan Jara represented the Tigers in singles and each lost in straight sets.
Stivers, the No. 6 seed, dropped a 0-6, 2-6 decision to a Lakeville North opponent and Jara lost 1-6, 0-6 to a player from Rochester Century.
"Megan played much better in the second set, but the Lakeville player was just too steady," Tiger coach Jack Olwell said. "Ryan played tough but didn't have the consistency and firepower to punish her opponent. That will come."
In doubles, the top Tiger tandem of freshmen Claire Padrnos and Lindsey Fairchild lost a three-set decision to a team from Rochester John Marshall 7-5, 4-6, 3-6.
"We were up actually up 4-2 in the second set but one lob shot that went just long turned to momentum," Olwell said, "and they won the next six games."
The second doubles duo of ninth-graders Jess Novotny and Beth Fairchild lost 0-6, 0-6 to a team from Northfield.
"We had a good season," Olwell said, "and we'll be looking for even better next year."
