The Tiger golf season faded to black at the final round of the Section 1AAA Championships played Monday, June 6, at Cannon Golf Club.
Terra Klima and Brianna Swenson qualified for Monday's final round as individuals but did not advance to the state tournament.
Klima matched her opening day round of 103 to finish at 206 for the two-day meet. Swenson shot 112 to finish at 212.
"The conditions weren't ideal because of the heat," Tiger coach Rob Carpentier said. "Many of the scores were elevated but both of our girls would have needed to shoot around 90 to have a chance to advance."
Team captain Klima will graduate this spring. Freshman Swenson has three years of varsity experience remaining.
"Bri's experience at the section should certainly help her," Carpentier said.
