Trevor Hockert
Low Farmington scorer at Bluff Creek

Farmington dropped a couple of notches in the Missota Conference pecking order with a seventh place finish at the second league meet of the season played Monday at Bluff Creek Golf Club in Chaska.
Chanhassen tightened its hold on the top spot by winning its second meet in a row, finishing with 311 strokes. New Prague was five shots back at 316, followed by Red Wing 334, Shakopee 341, Holy Angels 341, Farmington 349 and Northfield 350. Collin Lervick of Chanhassen claimed medalist honors with a round of 75.
No Tiger managed to finish below 80 and only three broke 90 on the chilly day with Trevor Hockert leading the way with a round of 85. Matt Provost shot 86 and Tommy May 87. Mike Dalhed carded 91 and Ryan Kelly and Ton Lalani each checked in at 95.
The Tiger junior varsity fared a little better with Kevin Olund shooting 83, Erik Holmstrom 84 and Mitch Reed 88. Josh Cordes shot 95, Victor Simones 97 and Jacob Trippel 102.
The Tigers play in two more tournaments--Saturday's Dakota County Invitational at Emerald Greens and the following Monday's Shakopee Invitational at Stonebrooke-- before returning to conference action May 10 at River Oaks.
