The victory was Farmington's third straight over the Raiders and raised its overall record to 5-2-1.
The winners scored both of their goals in a three-minute span early in the opening half.
The first came on an alert play by Jared Wolt who rebounded his own shot off a penalty kick and drilled it past the Raider keeper. The second came when Hunter Meyers connected from long range off a throw-in by Caleb Gouchnour.
The rest of the contest belonged to Tiger goalie Jake Agnew who recorded 10 saves, several of them of the acrobatic variety, to record his fourth shutout of the season.
"Jake has been a great addition to our squad this year," coach Julian Buss said. "He brings a tremendous knowledge of the position along with the physical ability to make some amazing acrobatic stops."
Buss also credited his bench as a key player in the win.
"Our subs have been doing a great job of picking right up where the starers leave off," he said. "It is not always a glorious job starting the game on the bench, but it is so important. Our bench players can get the job done and then some."
Buss added it was also nice to have his team back at full strength, something that has not occurred since the opening of the season. Robin DeCastro and Calvin Vue both returned from injuries.
The Tigers, 4-2, against Section 1 opposition this season, take on another section opponent, Rochester Mayo (5-3 overall and 3-1 in the section), 11:00 a.m.Saturday at Tiger Stadium.
