The victory was the third straight for coach Mike Woody's team and raised the Farmington's season record to 6-3.
None of the three games against the Knights was close and Woody was able to spread the playing time among for his rostered players.
Freshman hitters Kenzie Hesse and Emma Fahning topped the stat sheet in kills with nine and eight respectively. Setter Ruthie Schmitt led in assists with 20 and and the Tigers were white hot in the serving department, finishing with 20 aces. Amber Ripley led with four and Morgan Cecchittini, Diana Comes and Fahning had three apiece.
Fahning also had a productive night defensively with a team-high 13 digs while Ripley chipped in with seven. Comes led in serve receptions with 11 and Vanessa Garske had a team-best three blocks.

The Tigers started slowly in the day-long tourney, losing 2-1 to Tartan and 2-1 to Grand Rapids in their first two matches before reeling off three straight 2-0 victories over Deer River, Mahtomedi and DeLaSalle.
The duo of Hesse and Fahning totaled 76 kills for the day with Hesse finishing with 46 and Fahning 30. Schmitt averaged 21.6 set assists a match with a high of 24 versus Tartan.

The non-stop schedule continues tonight (Tuesday) with a non-conference home match with Hastings.
