The loss drop the Tigers' league mark to 2-1-2 and its season record to 6-3-4.
The Storm put the game away early with three first half scores and a stifling defensive effort.
"We played the first half into the win but they were a strong opponent," coach Julian Buss said. "They moved the ball quickly and put accurate shots on net."
Farmington played better after the break but could not get the ball past the Storm goalkeeper.
"We got about 10 good shots in the game but unfortunately, we weren't able to convert any to goals," Buss said.
Chanhassen scored the only goal of the second half on a penalty kick with 15 minutes remaining in regulation.
The four goals were the most allowed by the Tigers in a game this season. Sophomore goalie Jake Agnew finished the contest with six saves.
"I was impressed with our second half," Buss said. "We were more aggressive and played heads-up soccer. In the end, this was be a game against the Missota Conference champions."
The Tigers close out their regular season schedule nest week.Tuesday they travel to Richfield to face Holy Angels before returning home Thursday to host Shakopee. The Section 1AA post-season tournament begins the following week.
