Less than 24 hours after posting a hard-earned three-point win over St. Paul Harding at Tiger Gym, Farmington invaded the Target Center looking for an encore performance against Zimmerman.

What they got instead was a Timberwolves-like outcome in a 68-46 non-conference loss to the Thunder.

Zimmerman rolled to 34-18 advantage in the opening half on the way to its second win in four games this season. The loss dropped the Tigers to 1-5.

Farmington played much more competitively after intermission, getting outscored 34-28 after the break.

Nick Varner was the only Tiger to score in double digits on the big stage, finishing with 11 points. Darren Beenken added nine, McKinley Bassett eight and Tom Sell six.

Tuesday, December 20, the Tigers play host to Park of Cottage Grove before clsoing out their pre-holiday portion of their schedule Thursday at Simley. Thursday's contest has an unusual start time of 5:30 p.m.
