Nadia Lorencz 3rd in long jump; 6th in triple jump

The Farmington girls fared well against some of the best competition in the state at the Hamline Elite meet run Friday night, Apr. 29, at Hamline University in St. Paul.
Jumper Nadia Lorencz scored the highest Farmington finish with a third place showing in the long jump with a leap of 17-10. Lorencz also scored sixth place points in the triple jump where she broke her own, recenly set school record with a 35-7 effort.
The Tiger 4x400 relay team of Alyssa Praco, Izzie Ferm, Erin Hickey and Maria Kiminski took fourth place in a strong field with a clocking of 4:04.5.
Another Tiger relay foursome, the 4x200 team of Parco, Ferm, Courtney Johnston and Hickey, ranked ninth with a finishing time of 1:49.18.
High-jumper Sam Hanson, who set a school record of 6-7 earlier in the season, represented the Tiger boys team and tied for seventh with a jump of 6-0.
