The victory was the first in five tries for the Tigers who came into the game having lost three straight by the narrowest of margins.
"We truly looked like a team out there, especially the first half," Tiger coach Dan Pickens said.
"Even though we only scored once in the second half we played solid defensively and possessed the ball most of the half."
Rachael Welzin (4) and Shelby Klotz (2) combined for six goals to spark the win. Welzin's four-goal outburst was her second straight and gives her 13 for the year; three more than Klotz.
Kaeli Halverson, Ashley Steffes and Brooke Genzler also found the net for the winners. Welzin, Steffes and Michaela Tonsager each added an assist.
The Tiger defense did a good job of keeping the ball away from the net. Park got off just 12 shots on goal, eight of them stopped by goalie Maddie Kohlbeck. Farmington finished with 25 shots on goal.
"We seem to be hitting our stride and are starting to find our identity on defense and offense," Pickens said. "I like the way things are looking going into a couple of three- game weeks in May."
Monday the Tigers travel to Lakeville South and the following night they head to Richfield for a re-match with Holy Angels. They return to Tiger Stadium Thursday to host Chaska/Chanhassen.
