Boys Swimming and Diving: Tigers take second at South St. Paul Invitational
Farmington turned in another quality performance Saturday, Jan. 15, finishing second in the nine-team South St. Paul Invitational held at the Central Square Community Center.
Cambridge-Isanti won the meet with 414 points, followed by the Tigers at 357.5, Hastings 319, River Falls (Wisc.) 272, South St. Paul 225.5, St. Louis Park 220.5, Tartan 219, St. Cloud Apollo 154.5, St. Paul Como Park 128.
Tyler Magalis had another big day for the Tigers winning the one-meter diving competition. taking second in the 50 freestyle and teaming up with Brian Huls, Allen Berg and Christopher Kirchmann to win the 200 freestyle relay.
Huls brought home a first in the 50 freestyle and ranked fourth in the 100 butterfly. Berg scored third place points in the 500 freestyle.

200 freestyle: 8. Kirchmann
200 individual medley: 4. Berg

400 freestyle relay: 4. Kirchmann, Huls, Berg, Holton
The Tigers jump back into action Thursday, Jan. 20, with a Missota Conference dual meet with Northfield at the Dodge Middle School pool. Saturday they head to Northfield for the Section 1AA True Team Championships.
