Rosemount scored the game-winner with 2.2 seconds remaining in regulation to hand the Tigers a 9-8 loss last Friday at Tiger Stadium.  The defeat was the second by a single goal in as many days for Farmington who lost 8-7 to Eastview in overtime on Thursday.

The loss dropped the tough-luck Tigers to 1-3 for the season..

"We gave them the game," coach Dan Pickens said. " We didn’t play a very good first half, but we still were able to get a 6-1 lead.  We knew that we could play better in the second half, but couldn’t get anything going. "

Pickens said the contest was not without its positives and praised Jessica Erchul and defender Kaeli Haleverson for their play.

"Jess played a great game and really took control of the offense by scoring 3 unassisted goals," he said, "and Kaeli came up with some big turnovers when we needed them."

Haley Bradshaw the team's lading scorer, added two goals and Adrienne Jolicoeur, Shelby Klotz and Michaela Tonsager each scored once for the Tigers. Betsy Anderson added an assist.

" We will re-focus this week and get back to playing our game," Pickens said. "I know these seniors will get us turned around; they are great leaders."

Tuesday the Tigers venture to Rochester for a game with Century and Thursday they host Chaska/Chanhassen at Tiger Stadium.
