The draw left coach Rob Carpentier's squad wit a 6-2-2 record through 10 games.
Farmington's failure to find the back of the net wasn't for lack of chances as its outshot its guests by a lopsided 21-4 margin.
"We had several chances," Carpentier said, "but we didn't take advantage of them....On a positive note, the defense was outstanding again."
The shutout was keeper Ashley Becker's fifth of the season and lowered her overall goals against average to 1.2 per game.
Carpentier said his offense needs to develop more of what he termed a "killer instinct" and take better advantage of its quality scoring opportunities.
"Right now we lack that a bit," he said, "and if we don't find it in at least one or two girls, it will come back to bite us later on...The good news is that we need about a goal a game to walk away victorious and two means its almost a guaranteed win. That's saying something."
The Tigers should have better luck putting goals on the board this week. Tuesday they entertain Red Wing and Thursday they travel to New Prague for games against two of the second division teams in the Missota Conference.
