The Tigers switched things up in the middle of a busy three-meet week and the results were positive in a 94-82 dual meet win over New Prague Thursday night in New Prague.

"We were able to move girls to their off-events and give them a little variety," Tiger coach Jen Marshall said. "I think they had fun doing it."

The Tigers amassed a dominant 94-32 lead through eight events before swimming the final four in exhibition status (no points scored).

Kaitlyn O'Reilly swam some different events but finished with the usual result, registering wins in the 50 and 100 freestyle races and joining Robin Ellis, Ellie Sundt and Catherine Gehrke to claim the 200 medley relay.

Chelsea Gehrke also grabbed a pair of firsts, winning the 200 individual medley and 500 freestyle. Kirsten Kracke took the top spot in the 200 freestyle and Ellis won the 100 butterfly.

Farmington also posted six-runner-up finishes, including Sundet in the 200 medley and 500 free; Kracke in the 100 free; Chloe Holton in the 200 free; Cora Ruzicka in the 50 free and Kendall Novak in diving.

Six other Farmington entrants ranked third: Ellis (200 free); Sara Kintner (200 medley); Grace Roach (50 free); Sydney Geiger (100 fly); Catherine Gehrke (100 free) and Tori Sontag (diving).

The Tigers close out their busy week Saturday when they defend their team title at the Kennedy Invitational in Bloomington.
