The defeat dropped Farmington's dual met record to 4-5 overall and 1-3 in Missota Conference play.
Tiger coach Jack Olwell said despite the one-sided outcome, the match was the proverbial one that got away.
"We had healthy leads in four matches and were very tight in three others," he said, "but unfortunately we lost all but one.
"They outplayed us when it came down to it but it is hard to see solid leads slip away. After a night of reviewing what happened, it is clear they (Chaska) picked up their play, zeroed in on the best strategy and executed it very well."
The Farmington point came at the top of the singles ladder where Megan Stivers served up a 6-2, 6-4 win.
"It was great to see Megan rebound with enthusiasm after a couple of disheartening losses," Olwell said.
Callie Olmscheid lost for just the second time this season (6-7, 3-6) at third singles although she was in control early in both sets.
