Girls Tennis: No. 9 Storm blow by Tigers
Unbeaten Chanhassen lived up to its No. 9 state ranking with an impressive 7-0 win over the Tigers Thursday in Chanhassen.
The shutout loss was the first of the season for the Tigers who fell to 4-6 overall and 1-4 in the Missota Conference.
"I thought we played well; it was just all defense," Farmington coach Jack Olwell said. "They were very strong - particularly in singles.
"They took command and moved quickly into the driver's seat. In doubles they wrestled with us for control before taking over."
The Tigers return to action next Tuesday with a Missota Conference dual meet at the Boeckman Middle School courts.
