The weather cooperated and although no points were kept and no relays run, the Tigers had a very productive day.
Nadia Lorencz, Alyssa Parco and Izzie Ferm did most of the damage for the Tigers, combining to win six individual events.
Lorencz had an outstanding day, winning three events and breaking two school records in the process. She led the field in the 100-meter hurdles (14.99); triple jump (37-2) and long jump (18-1). Her hurdles time and triple jump distance bettered school marks she set last spring.
Parco opted out of her signature 300-meter hurdle race and instead ran three sprint events. She won the 100-meter dash (12.81) and 200-meter dash (26.22) and claimed fourth in the 400-meter run. Her winning time in the 200 was the fifth best ever at FHS ; her 200 time ranks sixth .
Ferm won the 400-meter run in 1:00.89, the fifth fastest ever by a Tiger, and ranked third in the 200-meter dash and long jump.
Aly Grebner ranked second in the shot put and Maria Kiminski placed fourth in the 800-meter run.
Freshman Destiny Schmitz ranked third in the high jump and fifth in the triple jump. Another ninth-grader, Megan Graham took fifth in the 400-meter run.
"We had a great night with some outstanding performances," Hart said. " Every one of our ladies competed and our times and distances improved.
"Nadia had a crazy day. Alyssa ran some personal bests and Izzie looked great in the 200 and 400. The list just keeps going on... I am so proud of our team."
Tuesday the Tigers travel to Eagan for the Wildcat Invitational.
