Lakeville South turned in a dominating performance and won the meet with 189 points. Host Eagan placed a distant second with 106, followed by Apple Valley 82, Farmington 69, Lakeville North 69, Rosemount 62, Woodbury 50, Park of Cottage Grove 31, Cretin-Derham Hall 27 and Bloomington Jefferson 17.
"The ladies did pretty
well," coach Tom Hart said. "Maria Kiminski did not compete due to
injury so that changed things a bit for us.
"It
was a beautiful night and as a result many of our times dropped. The meet
gave us a look at some of our section competition and let us see where
we need to improve and what we need to do moving forward."
Nadia Lorencz was a one-woman wrecking crew for the Tigers, accounting for almost half of their team point total. Lorencz won the 100-meter hurdles (14.97); long jump (18-4) and triple jump (37-0.25) and placed fifth in the pole vault (9-6) for a total of 34 points.
Teammates Alyssa Parco and Izzie Ferm also had big days for the Tigers. Parco won the 300-meter hurdles in a season-best 45.29 and she and Ferm each ran on a pair of third place relay teams.

Parco, Megan Graham, Jennifer Miller and Ferm took third in the 4x200 and Parco, Graham, Alicia Hett, and Ferm ranked third in the 4x400. Ferm also placed fourth in the 200-meter dash and the long jump.
The 4x100 foursome of Miller, Kelly Kornmann, Kayla Watne and Elizabeth Okikiolu placed seventh and Hett finished eighth in the 1600-meter run to round out the Farmington scoring.
Next Tuesday the girls head to Shakopee for the annual running of the Missota Conference Relays and Thursday they return to the same site for the Shakopee Invitational.
