Tommy May 11th place in conference meet
Farmington inched up a notch in the Missota Conference standings with a fifth place finish at the second of five Missota Conference tournaments played Friday at Fountain Valley Golf Course.

The Tigers ranked sixth at the first league tourney played last week at Stonebrooke Golf Club.

New Prague's Jack Pexa won medalist honors with a round of one-under par 71.

Senior Tommy May led the Tigers with an 11th place finish, shooting 40 on the front nine and 39 on the back. Tony Lalalni went 40-40 for an 80, good enough for 20th place.

Mitch Reed and Jake Hanson carded 83's while Ryan Kelly and Erik Holmstrom shot respective rounds of 85 and 87.

Monday the Tigers journey back to Stonebooke for the Shakopee Invitational before jumping back into conference play on Tuesday at the third league get-together scheduled for River Oaks Golf Club in Cottage Grove.
