The Tigers still finished at the bottom of the standings at the second Missota Conference tournament of the season played Wednesday afternoon at Dahlgreen Golf Club in Chaska but coach Jon Stock said his team is headed in the right direction.

"Our new players are continuing to improve and our returning players are as well," he said.

House dropped 10 strokes from her score from the first league get-together and Wright reduced her score by three shots.

The Tigers will putting in a lot of practice time over the next 10 days as they don't hit the competitive trail again until Monday, May 14, when they go to Creek's Bend Golf Course in New Prague for the third conference meet of the season.
