Farmington got its best singles play of the season but still couldn't win a match in a 7-0 dual meet loss Friday, Sept. 24, at Northfield.
The loss was the ninth straight for the Tigers who have yet to post a win this season.
The top Farmington performances came at the second and third singles positions where Meghan Lindstrom and Melanie Kappes each lost in three sets.
Lindstrom won the first set at the second spot 6-3, before dropping the next two 3-6 and 1-6.
"Meghan continues to impress with her footwork, determination and big forehand," coach Jack Olwell said.
Kappes lost 2-6, 6-2, 0-6 but still drew words of praise from her coach.
"Melanie is a tremendous mover," he said. "This was probably her best match which is good because her previous match was the best before this one."
The Tigers close the regular season next week with Missota Conference dual meets with New Prague and Chaska. Section 1AA team play begins the following week.
