The Tigers gave up a late lead in the first game at Chanhassen Thursday night, Sept. 16, and the Storm roared the rest of the way on the way to a 3-0 Missota Conference victory.
Chanhassen eked out a 25-23 win in the first game and then rolled 24-14 and 25-16 in the next two.
"I went in looking for a close match," coach Mike Woody said. "Unfortunately we gave away three points on mental and physical errors at the end of game one.
"From there we decided to go back to our old habits of playing stand-around defense, being timid on serve reception and overall lacking confidence.
"Right now Katie Habeck and Jordan Bridges are playing great volleyball. Once the rest of the girls decide to join them, we will be very dangerous."
Despite playing with a sore back, Habeck filled up the stat sheet with 18 kills, 31 serve receptions, seven blocks and a service ace.
Haylee Lundquist and Mia Johnston each hit double figures in assists with 12 and 10 respectively. Bridges added three kills and a pair of blocks and Brook King chipped in with 11 serve receptions.
